Job Title: Antilock Braking System (ABS) AM/M
Job Summary:
Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing ABS systems for Cars and SUV. The ABS Engineer will work closely with other engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure that ABS systems meet or exceed performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement ABS system/One Box specifications, design, and testing plans. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure ABS system compatibility with vehicle design and requirements. Conduct research and analysis to identify and resolve ABS system performance, safety, and regulatory issues. Develop and execute test plans and procedures to validate ABS system performance, reliability, and durability. Use simulation and modeling tools to optimize ABS system performance, including braking distance and stability. Work with suppliers to ensure that ABS system components meet or exceed quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Participate in design reviews and cross-functional team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to ABS systems and braking systems in general. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in designing and testing ABS systems for vehicles Experience with automotive industry standards and regulations related to braking systems, including FMVSS, ECE, and ISO standards Proficiency in CAD software, such as CATIA and simulation and modeling tools, such as Simulink or Amesim Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment
