Roles and Responsibilities

Application software development for 2 wheelers automotive safety-critical field. Develop SW for embedded devices from requirements to production.

Development of CAN DBC files and deal with RTOS automotive compliant.

Define and guide to a proper design of HW interfaces, microcontroller and memory selection, peripherals and controllers.

Define and implement state machine, flows and algorithms for automotive controls and drivetrain control.

Develop the VCU interfaces and SW modules to interface with the complete electrical system.

Define work packages and structure of the developments at component level.

Be the SPOC for development and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders for other components.

Contribute to the generation of a TWIN model to improve simulation capabilities.

Usage of bug tracking tools and code review systems. Debug through circuit emulators and simulators (closed and open loop).

SW testing and validation (SIL, MIL, HIL), Component level and Vehicle level

Prepare test cases and test automation approach.

Prepare detailed vehicle and component function documentation of ECU SW to verify and validate functionality.

Collaborate with system integration team to define the roadmap for VCU developments.

Define upcoming technologies and functionalities to be implemented in the component.

Create a project plan and resource plan to achieve the desired targets aligned with the company system.

Define interfaces and modules required for traction control, infotainment interface, cloud and network functions.

Skills and Capabilities

Automotive SW architecture and HW architecture expertise

Sound knowledge in automotive embedded SW design, development and testing.

Experience in Automotive Standards and Functional Safety (ISO, MISRA..)

Experience in requirements management tools (DOORS, ALM, Jira).

Hands on experience in Vector tools (CANoe, CAPL, CANalyzer).

Sound knowledge in development using MATLAB, Simulink and C programming.

Experience in HW and SW implementation of ISO standard.

Experience in the field of software, developments and deployment of high volume applications.

Knowledge of bootloader, communication and diagnostic protocols (Like UDS ,KWP)

OBDII knowledge

Experience in SW , HW and system testing.
