Experience

Internship or training experience in solar energy design (PV layout, stringing, sizing, SLD)


Skill/Knowledge

  • Solar PV system design & energy yield assessment (PVsyst)

  • Wind feasibility studies (WindPro)

  • Electrical design (SLDs, string sizing, layouts) using AutoCAD/Draftsight/SketchUp

  • Preparation of BOQs, technical specifications, procurement documents

  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar, hybrid, green hydrogen, BESS)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PVsyst

  • Basic understanding of MV/LV systems

  • Strong communication & teamwork skills

  • Excellent English (Arabic is a plus)

Job Description


We are seeking a motivated and fast-learning Assistant Project Engineer to join our Development Department in Muscat, Oman. The candidate will support renewable energy project development with a focus on solar PV systems, hybrid systems, and emerging technologies such as green hydrogen. Responsibilities include assisting in PV system design and energy assessments, supporting feasibility studies, preparing technical drawings and BOQs, and providing technical support for procurement and permitting. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with solid internship/training exposure in solar design, strong teamwork skills, and proficiency in PVsyst and AutoCAD.
