Job Title: Overhead Line Design Engineer

-          Proven advance experience in overhead line design using Power Line Systems (PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER). Minimum of 5 years is required.

-          Familiarity with overhead line codes and specifications.

-          Proficiency in creating material take-offs for various pole structures using PLS-CADD .

-          Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working in a collaborative environment.

-          Ability to perform site visits, meet clients and collect relevant data.

-          Proficiency in utilizing Google Earth, ArcGis, Global Mapper  and similar applications and integrate geospatial data for the OHL design.

-          Previous experience in training and mentoring junior engineers is preferred.

-Utilize Power Line Systems (PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER) to design and optimize overhead power transmission and distribution lines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

-Stay up-to-date with various overhead line codes and specifications to ensure designs meet the required standards of different clients.

-Conduct site visits to collect necessary data for design purposes

-Training and mentorship

-Create detailed material take-offs for various pole structures, such as concrete poles, steel poles, and lattice towers. This includes calculating quantities, estimating costs, and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
