Job Description
Wicehtowak Frontec Services is seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team in Jansen, SK. The Journeyperson Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairs, restores, and installs structural wood/steel work and related materials.
The Jansen discovery Lodge is a workforce housing facility in support of the potash mine. The camp is located 155 kilometers east of Saskatoon, SK. Our positions work on a 14 day on, 14 days off rotation. Accommodations and meals during your work rotations are provided by the company.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain doors, floors, windows, partitions, ceilings, and exteriors of buildings; builds and installs door and window framing
- Build wooden/steel structures such as partitions, building, office additions, does sheeting and rough carpentry on the buildings as well as final finishes
- Perform hand and bench work in carpentry work shop; operate planers, joiners, drill presses, power saws, ...
