About the Team and the Role

The Creative and Marketing team at Ather is responsible for designing captivating, on-brand motion visuals for everything Ather—think product launches, ad campaigns, social media, events, and even new sub-brands.

This role is for a Junior Motion Designer who will work closely with our Design, Copy, Brand, UI-UX, Video Production, Social Media, Events and other in-house teams to take their ideas and elevate them with your motion expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design captivating and on-brand motion visuals for product launches, ad campaigns, social media, events, and sub-brands.
• Collaborate with in-house teams including Design, Copy, Brand, and UI-UX to elevate creative ideas through motion.
• Apply a creative mindset to tell inventive stories through experimental and playful visual design.
• Share work-in-progress and integrate feedback within a collaborative and communicative environment.
• Identify core ideas during creative discussions and execute them using technical design and animation language.
• Maintain a solid handle on visual design basics and motion principles throughout all projects.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Design, Master of Design, or any equivalent degree in art or design works as a bonus.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in the industry, working with motion-graphics, animated films, and visual content.

Must Have Competencies

• Utilize Adobe After Effects to create high-quality animations and integrate workflows with collaborators.
• Apply core principles of visual design and motion graphics to create brand-aligned content.
• Execute storytelling through inventive and experimental motion design techniques.
• Utilize technical design and animation language to communicate vision and implement feedback.

Good to Have Competencies

• Integrate 3D software into existing motion graphics workflows.
• Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for asset preparation and design integration.
• Incorporate sound design elements to enhance motion visual projects.
• Apply creative coding techniques to develop unique visual content.
