Jr. Executive - Logistics (German Analyst)

Job Purpose

The Junior Executive – Logistics (German Analyst) will actively support various functions of the logistics department. The role involves organizing and tracking shipments, maintaining logistics documentation, coordinating with transporters and suppliers, and supporting logistics and warehouse reporting activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Organize and manage return shipments and empty bin shipments.
• Follow up on previously arranged return shipments to ensure timely execution.
• Upload and maintain logistics-related documents in the in-house transportation portal.
• Verify transporter work and ensure compliance with agreed processes.
• Confirm arrival of goods at supplier locations and update shipment status accordingly.
• Create and share pick-up order numbers with transporters.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and transport partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Assist in preparing logistics and warehouse reports as required.
• Ensure accurate data entry and adherence to logistics processes and timelines.

• Quick Learner: Ability to understand complex logistics processes and tools; capable of working independently after training.
• Stakeholder Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, transporters, and internal departments.
• Analytical & Multitasking Skills: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts preferred.
• Prior exposure to SAP or logistics/transportation systems is an advantage.
• B/B2 level German language (as required for the role).

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (Logistics / Supply Chain preferred).
• 0-1 year of experience; freshers may apply.
• Knowledge of SCM and SAP is an added advantage.
