KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop procedures and work instructions to document processes. - Support manufacturing engineering to maintain producibility / process capability, manufacturing process development, tool design, manufacturing cost estimating, Sourcing technical support, product and process qualifications, test support, product cost reduction efforts, and Capital Equipment projects. - Support Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing initiatives. - Support manufacturing engineering projects requiring development of specifications, supplier management, purchase, installation, and qualification of manufacturing equipment. - Support manufacturing engineer to monitor metrics like, scrap or productivity to ensure process performance. - Follow up and maintain on time, corrective actions assigned to him. - Review along with Manufacturing engineer the scrap reported by production. - Supports other departments solving manufacturability issues. - Make su...
