We are looking for an ambitious and technically minded Sales Support Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience
in a customer-facing role to join our simulationHub team. This junior role is pivotal in enabling our Technical
Sales Executives for AHC and Buildings AI. The individual will be responsible for handling initial client inquiries,
executing cold outreach activities to initiate contact with global clients, managing CRM data integrity, and
assisting with project-related documentation, serving as the critical link between the sales, engineering, and
marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Qualification & Initial Connect: Conduct outbound calls/emails to qualify marketing leads, understand the client's high-level needs (HVAC comfort vs. Energy Modeling), and book initial technical discovery meetings for the Sales Executives.
- Sales Enablement & Assets: Assist in customizing and preparing non-technical sales presentations, proposal templates, and client-facing introductory documents.
- Administrative Support: Maintain impeccable data integrity within the CRM system (prospect status, activity logging, forecasting support), generate weekly sales activity reports, and assist with travel and meeting scheduling.
- Communication Bridge: Act as the first point of contact for technical support requests that come through the sales channel, directing them to the appropriate engineering team and tracking resolution.
Requirements
Sales and Management Tools:
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for data entry, pipeline tracking, and report generation.
Technical Knowledge:
- Foundational understanding of the HVAC and AEC industry and the design process (concept to construction).
- Proficiency in a BIM tool, specifically Autodesk Revit, with experience in either Mechanical HVAC or
- architectural modeling.
- Ability to understand and communicate basic concepts of CFD, Load Calculation, and Building Energy Modeling (BEM).
Educational Background:
- B.E./BTech in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
General Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (engineering or technical support).
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office/G-Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
