Job Title: Junior Research Assistant (JRA) / Senior Research Assistant (SRA)

Location: GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh

Project Title: Transducer Enabled Tiles for Harvesting Energy from Pedestrian Pressure

Funded By: CST, Uttar Pradesh

Duration: 3 Years (Contract Basis)

Application Deadline: 20 January 2026 (Extended)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of transducer-based energy harvesting systems.
  • Simulation and modeling using tools such as SolidWorks, Ansys, and MATLAB.
  • Prototyping, testing, and validation of sensor-enabled tiles.
  • Documentation, reporting, and collaboration with the research team.
  • Assisting in research publications and project deliverables.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Junior Research Assistant (JRA):

  • B.E./B.Tech . in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), or related fields.
  • First-class academic record.
  • Candidates with GATE qualification will be preferred.

For Senior Research Assistant (SRA):

  • M.E./M.Tech . in EE/EEE/ECE/AEI/EN or related disciplines.
  • Strong research aptitude in machine design, sensors, and simulation tools.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, Ansys, and MATLAB is highly desirable.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in Electrical Machines, Instrumentation, Transducer, or Sensor Development.
  • Research publications or project experience in related areas.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Fellowship Details:

  • As per CST, UP norms.
  • Position is temporary and coterminous with the project.
