Job Title:  Backend Developer – TypeScript / Node.js / MCP / LLM / RAG

Location:  Kharadi, Pune OR Remote

Shift:  EST Shift (7:30 PM IST – 4:30 AM IST)

About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Developer  with strong expertise in API development , MCP server integration , and experience working with LLM and RAG pipelines . The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js , with working knowledge of ReactJS  for cross-functional collaboration. You'll be working on next-generation AI-driven products integrating real-time voice, data, and machine learning components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Develop, optimize, and document RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Implement and manage MCP servers  for model context and runtime integrations.
  • Integrate LLM  (Large Language Models) and RAG  (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) components into backend workflows.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure smooth API-to-UI data flow (ReactJS).
  • Write efficient, modular, and scalable backend code.
  • Integrate with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) and caching systems.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security across all backend components.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript .
  • Proven experience building and integrating APIs at scale.
  • Hands-on experience working with MCP servers .
  • Strong knowledge of LLM and RAG-based systems  (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, or similar frameworks).
  • Basic to intermediate experience with ReactJS  (frontend collaboration).
  • Strong grasp of asynchronous programming and event-driven design.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker).

Good to Have

  • Exposure to WebSocket  or real-time data systems.
  • Experience deploying AI pipelines in production environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of authentication frameworks (JWT, OAuth).
