What's the role?
General Ledger Accounting is responsible for multiple accounting tasks that comprise:
- Journal entries: Record daily, weekly and monthly journal entries across different entities.
- Reconciliation Process: Prepares work papers for the different General Ledger accounts.
- Statutory Audit: Prepares multiple work papers and supports for external and internal auditors.
Who are you?
This position requires a college level degree in accounting or finance candidate with at least 1 year of experience (preferably), preferably in a global company and multiple time zones, fluent in English. The following skills and knowledge are also desired:
- 2-3 years of experience with accounting software programs, ERPs (such as PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.)
- Candidates fresh from university are acceptable.
