Junior Accountant

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting compliance across direct and indirect taxes. This role is suited for individuals who are eager to grow in a structured finance environment with strong fundamentals in accounting and taxation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including:
• Journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Vendor payments and customer invoicing
• Ensure statutory compliance and timely filing of:
• GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations)
• TDS payments, returns (Form 26Q, 27Q), and certificate issuance
• Income Tax provisions, advance tax, and other applicable financial compliances
• Assist in preparation of:
• Monthly MIS reports
• Audit schedules and statutory audit support
• Cash flow statements and financial analysis as required
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes
• Coordinate with external consultants (CAs, auditors, etc.) on compliance and filing matters

Qualifications

• Education:
• B.Com (mandatory)
• CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA (preferred)
• Experience:
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax compliance
• Internship experience in a CA firm or finance function is an added advantage
