Our client is a well established shipping brand. In view of expansion, they are currently seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as "Junior Accounts (AR) cum Admin Executive".

In this role, you will be responsible for the following :

  • Provide support in financial tasks.
  • Administer and monitor the financial system to ensure that the finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Process daily AR transactions, ensure transactions are properly recorded and maintained in systems.
  • Process cash/bank reconciliation with completeness and accuracy.
  • Preparation of audit schedules and assist with annual statutory audit.
  • Provide administrative support within Finance dept.
  • Provide IT administrative support including scheduling appointments with Global IT department for periodic system updates and maintenance.
  • Perform general office duties including filing, storage, handling phone call and security of documents.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Higher Nitec/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or Equivalent
  • Ideally minimum 1 to 2 years in similar function. Open to entry level candidates.
  • Must be capable in managing financial records and performing a variety of administrative tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Excel in particular
  • Meticulous, proactive and adaptable to change
  • Possess good personality, a hard worker, willingness to learn and a can-do and positive attitude
