About the Position

Junior Finance Executive/Analyst is responsible for providing support to the finance department in various financial tasks, including MIS data analysis, financial reporting, invoice processing, payroll processing and assisting with financial processes. They work under the guidance of senior finance professionals to ensure financial health and compliance of the organization.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Gathers data from various sources and processes it to provide MIS information on a monthly basis for Management review and Analysis.
  • Assist in budgeting process. Ensure expenses are in line with the approved budget.
  • Invoice processing and due diligence
  • Timely payroll processing
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements. Coordinate with project teams when required.
  • When required, conduct financial analysis, assess financial performance, and provide insights.
  • Utilize financial software and tools for data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements & generate periodic reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in creating financial forecasts to guide decision-making. Help track actual performance against budgeted figures for Projects and overall.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and databases. Input financial transactions into accounting software. Ensure data integrity and organization.
  • Assist in ensuring the organization complies with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, or other financial stakeholders to resolve payment or invoicing issues. Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Any other tasks assigned.


Qualifications:

  • MBA/MCom/CA or equivalent with 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, accounting software ERP tools).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance field.
