JUNIOR LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

BUSINESS & COMMERCIAL LITIGATION

A top-10 AmLaw international law firm is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group in Miami. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven litigator to work on sophisticated disputes while learning from a nationally recognized team. The position offers hands-on experience across all stages of litigation, as well as meaningful mentorship and professional development.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record (Class Years 2022-2024)

  • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.

  • 1–3 years of general litigation experience across a broad range of practices.

  • Completion of a federal or state supreme court judicial clerkship is required.

  • Prior law firm experience is a plus.

  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Attention to detail and sound business judgment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings.

  • Support senior attorneys in case development, strategy, and client communications.

  • Assist with discovery, including drafting requests and responses, and reviewing evidence.

  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials, providing support to the litigation team.

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

  • Review, organize, and manage case files and documentation.

  • Engage in pro bono matters to support underserved communities.

    Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $225,000-$260,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.

  • Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available.
