Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a global engineering solutions company to recruit a Junior CAD Technician to join their facility in Scunthorpe.

The Junior CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects and would suit someone who has a strong CAD background and experience in SolidWorks.

Duties of the Junior CAD Technician include:

  • Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software
  • Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and convert conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings
  • Utilise SolidWorks to create 3D models and 2D drawings for project plans
  • Ensure all CAD designs comply with company standards and relevant industry regulations
  • Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems
