Job Description: Junior Chartered Accountant (CA Fresher)

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Chartered Accountant (CA Fresher) to support finance operations for enterprise customers. This role focuses on contract review, invoicing, collections, receivables tracking, and basic legal and compliance coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals, practical thinking, and clear communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Contract Review

  • Review enterprise contracts to understand payment terms, billing cycles, and renewal clauses

  • Identify financial and payment-related risks such as pricing issues, termination clauses, and payment delays

  • Summarize key commercial terms in a clear and concise manner

  • Coordinate with internal teams on contract-related financial implications

2. Invoicing & Billing

  • Prepare accurate invoices based on contract terms and actual usage

  • Apply correct tax calculations, including GST

  • Ensure invoices include proper line items, tax details, and totals

  • Maintain proper documentation and billing records

3. Collections & Follow-Ups

  • Track outstanding receivables and overdue payments

  • Draft professional follow-up emails for enterprise clients regarding pending payments

  • Prepare internal escalation notes for delayed or high-risk collections

  • Support leadership with timely and structured collections updates

4. Legal & Compliance Coordination

  • Review basic clauses in NDAs and MSAs relevant to invoicing and payments

  • Ensure all required documents are in place before raising invoices

  • Coordinate with legal and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance

5. Revenue & Receivables Tracking

  • Maintain and update receivables summaries for enterprise clients

  • Track paid, partially paid, and overdue invoices

  • Identify overdue and at-risk receivables

  • Support finance reporting with clean and organized data

Skills & Requirements

  • CA Fresher or Junior Chartered Accountant

  • Strong understanding of accounting, invoicing, and GST fundamentals

  • Basic knowledge of contracts, NDAs, and commercial agreements

  • Good written communication skills for client and internal coordination

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to organize data and present clear financial summaries

  • Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets and documents
