<div>Description:</div> <br> <div> <div class="olUlHelper pl10px"> Job Purpose-The role to support information technology solutions to fulfill business and functional requirements. Responsible for the conversion of business requirements to technical specifications, delivery and post implementation maintenance activities. Responsible of 100% system availability and provide solution as per defined SLA. <br/>Key Result Areas <br/> Support information technology solutions making specific determinations about system performance. <br/> Prepare/verify production transfer documentation. <br/> Monitor applications to ensure adequate system resources to process at production standards. <br/> Follow up and co-ordinate with internal teams for SIT, UAT support and Production Rollout. <br/> Perform root cause analysis (RCA) arising from production system disruption and gather required information and logs from the system for investigation. <br/> Follow up with vendor for resolution and closure of the issue. <br/> Deploy bug fixes in test environment and perform SIT. <br/> Get the fix tested by users and take appropriate actions to move the change in Production. <br/> Coordinate with DBA for re-indexing activities as per the system DB requirements. <br/> Coordinate with associated teams for Security/OS/DB patches in development environment. <br/> <br/>Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships <br/> Member of the development/implementation team (off-shore) working on assigned tasks, project activities and IT initiatives. <br/> Co-ordinates with members and other functional teams and provides oversight for deliverables from off-shore. <br/> Work with team members participating in shadowing and training activities. <br/> Adhere to information controls and security frameworks/procedures, including change and incident management process. <br/> Provide general administrative support to the team, including, meetings, knowledge transfer and activity reporting. <br/> <br/>Problem Solving <br/> Ability to break down complex issues and identify most important and relevant information and options. <br/> Ability to present and discuss problems with others toward permanent solution. <br/> Investigate and understand the cause of defects raised. <br/> Interpret, understand and resolve user support issues. <br/> Ability to perform root cause analysis. <br/> Recommend solutions to system or process obstacles. <br/>Decision Making Authority & Responsibility <br/>Responsible to design functional solutions to business requirements. <br/>Prepare and maintain documentation. <br/>Use effective judgment to weigh different options for achieving better results within appropriate timeframes. <br/>Highlight any concerns affecting workplace deliverables. <br/>Knowledge, Skills and Experience <br/> Good knowledge of Payments / banking domain <br/> Working experience on application support for Cheque Clearing, ACH, RTGS and GCC RTGS Systems. <br/> Knowledge about back-office operations on payments processing and settlements. <br/> Good at writing SQL custom queries and scripts. <br/> Ability to work on Windows / Linux / Unix platform, Oracle, PL-SQL, SQL <br/> Ability to break down complex issues and identify most important and relevant information and options. <br/> Ability to perform root cause analysis for ongoing incidents. <br/> Investigate and understand the cause of defects raised. <br/> Interpret, understand and resolve user support issues. <br/> Good knowledge in client browsers and configurations <br/> Good Knowledge in Messaging Queues integration developments <br/> Ability to review, understand system documentation. <br/> Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation. <br/> Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach. <br/> Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. <br/> 2-3 years production support experience with 1+ years changes deployment in a relevant domain. <br/> Holding Computer Science degree or equivalent. </div> <tr id = "skillBasedHiringFlag"> <td class="prompt">Enable Skills-Based Hiring</td> <td>No</td> </tr> </table> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="panel-container"> <table class="viewTable fullWidth" summary="Details"> <tr> <td colspan="2"></td> </tr> <tr id="commentsToSupplier"> <td colspan="2"> <div class="fd-panel fd-panel--fixed"> <div class="fd-panel__header">Comments</div> <div class="fd-panel__content"><table class="box" summary="Comments" ><tr class="subheaders" ><th>Entered<table></table>
