Junior EIC Drafter

The Junior Electrical Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) Drafter role is a full-time hybrid role (i.e., a mix of office-based work in Calgary, AB and some work from home). In this role, the Junior Drafter will assist the Lead Draftsperson with drafting and design tasks for all projects, coordinate with engineers and other professionals to meet project requirements, evaluate drawings, and ensure they adhere to appropriate drafting standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Amendment of mark‑ups
• Complete and accurate re‑drafting of construction and demolition drawings
• Creation of basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation details
• Production of area classifications and panel/junction box layouts
• Cleaning of DWG files for return to the client
• As‑building
• As‑building of completed projects from field redline mark‑ups
