Junior Electrical Engineer

Description Position Overview: The Undersea Systems Division at Leidos is currently seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and prototyping embedded hardware for rugged ocean systems. Collaborating with a skilled team of engineers, you will contribute to the creation of hardware, firmware, and software, engaging directly in the development and testing of critical system components such as circuit boards, sensors, batteries, and power supplies. Primary Responsibilities: Identify engineering challenges and propose innovative component and system designs. Design, prototype, and rigorously test system components alongside project leads and team members.
