Job Description
Amentum is seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Electrical Engineer -to support Electromagnetic Environmental Effects.
**Electrical Engineer -Junior job responsibilities include:**
+ Works with the pulser team in both an indoor and outdoor lab environment, to prepare and execute test activities
+ Supports MIL-STD-3023 High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse testing for various military aircraft, weapons and communication systems
+ Builds, operates and troubleshoots electromagnetic pulse simulators, high voltage/high current equipment and specialized components
+ Calibrates, maintains and organizes specialized test equipment
+ Researches and develops current electromagnetic pulse simulators/subsystems to improve reliability/performance
+ Interacts/Coordinates with customers, contractors, subcontractors, technical leads, program managers, supervisors and executive supervisors to perform roles and responsibilities
