The Junior Estimator supports Scott Coatings’ preconstruction efforts by performing digital quantity take-offs, organizing bid documents, assisting in cost breakdowns, and preparing proposal drafts. This is an ideal role for someone early in their construction or estimating career who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to grow.

Essential Functions

• Perform basic digital quantity take-offs (using Bluebeam or similar tools). Bluebeam training will be provided.
• Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
• Prepare initial cost breakdowns using Excel templates.
• Organize material and vendor/subcontractor pricing for senior estimators.
• Support the creation and formatting of bid proposals.
• Maintain bid logs, tracking sheets, and follow‑up documentation.
