Junior Estimator On site

Location: On-site (Medellin, Bogotá, Bucaramanga, Cali, Barranquilla)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will review architectural plans, perform accurate takeoffs, and prepare competitive bids for residential and commercial projects. You will also coordinate with contractors and suppliers, maintain organized documentation, and support operational tasks to ensure efficiency and accuracy throughout the estimating process.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Takeoffs

• Review and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications, focusing on windows and doors.
• Perform precise takeoffs to determine materials, sizes, quantities, and configurations.
• Use manufacturer software to generate detailed cost estimates.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids to contractors for residential and commercial projects.
• Provide completed estimates for smaller residential jobs to leadership for review.

Project Coordination

• Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project details.
• Track bid deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals.
• Maintain organized documentation of estimates, revisions, and submitted bids.

Additional Duties

• Perform administrative tasks related to estimating and project tracking.
• Handle data entry, quote follow-ups, and CRM updates.
• Assist leadership with operational tasks and support purchasing or vendor communication as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

• English proficiency: B2+ level
• 1–2 years of experience as an Estimator or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic data entry)
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Ability to read architectural plans and construction drawings (windows/doors experience preferred)
• Familiarity with construction industry terminology
• Ability to learn and use manufacturer estimating software
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
