• User Access Management
• IT Department Roles & Responsibilities: Below are activities that are required to be managed at plants/locations on daily basis. User issues related to end points/network/performance etc. needs to be attended
o Backup and Restoration
o Asset Management
o Configuration Management
o IT Service Request Management
o Incident Management
o Change Management
o Release Management
• Patch Management: critical operating system or security patches related issues or deploying them needs intervention and these resources are expected to manage in their location
• Back up and restoration of scientific data: as per SOPs these needs to be executed and documented for all GxP solutions at these locations
• Time Synchronization: required to monitor site Network time protocol server as time stamp between various apps needs to be in synch else DI issues may crop up
