Staffline Recruitment Ireland, on behalf of our valued client, is seeking a motivated Junior Health & Safety Officer to join their expanding team. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Limerick, with regular travel to sites across the region.

As they continue to expand, they are now strengthening their Health & Safety function to support diverse on-site activities within a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will support the Health & Safety function across active sites, ensuring that best practice and statutory compliance are consistently upheld. Key duties include:
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of site-specific Health & Safety plans.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Support the development and delivery of toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings.Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, site procedures, and company policies.Report and record accidents, incidents, and near misses in line with internal protocols.Provide advice and guidance to site personnel on safe working practices.Assist senior H&S staff in preparing documentation, reports, and safety files.Promote a positive safety culture across all site teams.Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and project teams to maintain safe operations.Benefits:

1-2 years' experience in a Health & Safety role (experience in demolition is highly desirable; experience in the construction industry is essential).Relevant H&S qualifications (, Safe Pass, Manual Handling, H&S certification).Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, site safety practices, and risk assessments.Full clean driver's licence, with willingness to travel to multiple sites.Excellent communication, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work independently.
