Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Project Engineer – PEB / Civil located in Chennai. The professional in this role will handle project planning, engineering, and management tasks, ensuring the successful execution of Pre-Engineered Building and civil projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with various teams, ensuring project timelines are met, managing resources, and resolving on-site issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Project Engineering and Project Planning
- Expertise in Project Management to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget
- Knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering
- Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to project-specific requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of PEB structures and relevant design software is an advantage
: Site/Project Engineer / Project Manager
: Chennai/Coimbatore
Type: Full-Time (Can be hybrid if office-based tasks)

- Assist in preparing daily progress reports, material call-offs, labor logs
- Monitor PEB erection sequence (columns, rafters, purlins, cladding) — flag misalignments
- Support QC checks: measure bolt torque, welds, paint DFT, foundation levels
- Track RFIs, NCRs, variation orders — update tracker & chase approvals
- Help coordinate with vendors, transport, crane hire — keep things moving
- Learn to read structural & electrical drawings (Auto CAD/PDF) — ask questions!
- Shadow safety audits — ensure PPE compliance, tool box talks, incident reporting
- Use Excel to track timelines, budget, manpower — pivot tables optional

- 1–2 yrs in construction (PEB preferred, civil okay)
- BE/B. Tech (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) – freshers welcome if internships strong
- Basic Auto CAD / MS Project / Excel (formulas, charts, pivot)
- Willing to travel, work long hours,
- Good communication — can talk to labor, engineers, clients
