Role Description
- Job Title: Junior Site Engineer PEB
- Reports To: Site Manager/Project Manager / Construction Head
- Location: Chennai/ Coimbatore
- Type: Full Time (Site Based)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily PEB assembly – columns, rafters, purlins, bracing, cladding
- Verify foundation anchor bolts & base plate alignment per drawing & tolerance (≤5mm)
- Coordinate crane & rigging crew; ensure safe lifting sequence (no warping / damage)
- Monitor material receipt & track deviations (bolt count, section lengths, paint coats)
- Log daily progress photos + QC checks (witness points: welds, bolt torque, plumbness)
- Liaise with fabricator & client on RFIs, change orders, snag list
- Enforce HSE: PPE, scaffolding, fall protection, crane signalers
Must have Qualifications:
- 2- 4 yrs PEB / steel erection experience
- Reads structural drawings & ISO 9001/OHSAS 18001 awareness
- Auto CAD / MS Project / Excel for logs
- Hands-on, can climb, work at height, tolerate heat/dust
- Experience with Indian codes (IS 800, IS 875)
