Job Description

About DROPZ

DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.

This role is for a creator who wants real ownership in a 0 to 100 environment, where your output ships fast, earns attention, and directly moves community momentum. You will run end-to-end social video creation for drops and always-on storytelling, balancing speed with taste, consistency, and a high quality bar, while helping define what 'DROPZ content' becomes.

What You'll Do

  • Own daily and weekly short-form video creation end-to-end, translating drop priorities into concept, shoot plan, edit, and publish-ready deliverables that match platform-native formats and DROPZ's cultural tone.
  • Produce fast-cycle content across BTS, packaging and dispatch moments, product storytelling, street and culture cuts, and drop teasers, shipping quickly while keeping pacing, hooks, and retention-first editing tight.
  • Shoot EGC-style content with a creator-first feel, using handheld, natural light, and authentic framing where it fits, while still delivering clean audio, stable footage, and consistently usable takes.
  • Build repeatable content frameworks (hooks, recurring series, templates) so output scales without getting stale, and so launches can be supported with predictable volume and cadence.
  • Capture shoots on-location and in-office, directing simple setups with confidence, coaching subjects for usable performances, and getting coverage that makes edits flexible under time pressure.
  • Edit with a strong short-form rhythm, using captions, on-screen text, sound design, and transitions intentionally, and exporting in platform-correct specs with clean naming and version control.
  • Collaborate with brand, design, and operations to source product details and drop context, ensuring every video is accurate, on-message, and aligned to what is actually shipping and when.
  • Maintain a tight content pipeline, managing your shot lists, selects, edit timelines, and approvals so content never blocks drops, community beats, or creator collaboration moments.
  • Track performance signals (hook rate, retention, saves, comments) and convert learnings into the next batch of edits, iterating fast without losing the core brand story.
  • Maintain a personal 'DROPZ library' of b-roll, textures, and cultural references, keeping footage organized so you can build edits quickly and raise the overall consistency of the feed.

Who You Are

  • You have 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience shooting and editing short-form content, and you can show a portfolio where you owned the full workflow from concept to final export.
  • You understand what makes a short-form video win, strong first 2 seconds, clean narrative beat, tight pacing, and edits that feel native rather than over-produced or generic.
  • You can shoot confidently on a phone or camera, getting usable audio and lighting with simple setups, and capturing coverage that makes your edits fast and flexible.
  • You move fast without shipping sloppy work, and you have a personal quality bar for framing, captions, sound, color consistency, and clean exports.
  • You are comfortable taking full ownership of deliverables, planning your own shoots, managing your time, and shipping daily output without needing constant follow-ups.
  • You bring taste and cultural awareness, you know what is trending, but you do not chase trends blindly, you adapt them to brand story and community fit.
  • You communicate clearly with stakeholders, sharing what you are shipping, what you need, and what is at risk, so the team can move as one during drop cycles.
  • You thrive in a 0 to 100 startup environment, bring daily intensity, and stay accountable to outcomes, not just effort, while being a team-first, low friction collaborator.
  • You are open to feedback and iteration, and you can revise quickly without defensiveness, using critique to sharpen the work rather than slow down output.
  • You care about building culture through content, treating every video as a moment that earns trust, grows the community, and strengthens what DROPZ stands for.

What We Offer

  • Real ownership of a visible content lane, where your work directly shapes how DROPZ feels to the world and how every drop becomes a moment people want to be part of.
  • A fast-moving environment that rewards action, learning, and shipping, with space to build repeatable systems that improve quality and velocity together.
  • Growth through building from 0 to 100 together, you will learn by owning outcomes, expanding your creative range, and raising the bar with each drop cycle.
  • A culture-forward brand canvas, where you can experiment within clear guardrails and develop a strong, recognizable content signature over time.
