Junior Staff Accountant

Role type: Full-time, fully remote Salary: $1,000-1,200 USD/month Position Overview: The client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Staff Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Senior Staff Accountant, the Junior Staff Accountant will play a critical role in managing and reconciling financial transactions for almost 200 restaurant chain operations. This position involves overseeing reconciliations for cash, credit cards, third-party delivery services (e.g., UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub), and franchisor statements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cash Management: Conduct daily cash audits for both SM and OPCO operations. Communicate with store team members regarding discrepancies, ensuring timely follow-up for resolutions. Troubleshoot Loomis safe issues. 2. Credit Card Reconciliation: Prepare credit card integration for SM and OPCO. Reconcile SM credit card transactions using reports from First Data.
