Overview

Job Description: Junior Structural Design Engineer to joint the Combat and UAV Structural Design team. In the Combat area we are responsible for the Eurofighter wing structure and therefore we perform design modifications, repairs, non-conformities resolution and support to in-service aircraft. In the UAS area the main projects currently developed are the Eurodrone and the Sirtap. Eurodrone is the most important UAV defence programme of the future for Europe, the key to European and national sovereignty and independence in information and intelligence management as well as European industrial independence. Airbus uniquely combines the experience, capabilities and footprint to drive with our industrial partners this strategic defence programme. New doctrines, processes and skills need to be gradually developed in alignment with the planned arrival of Eurodrone capabilities and meeting the related technological challenges.
