Description GSPANN is hiring a Junior Systems Engineer to support endpoint management, patching, and desktop engineering operations. The role focuses on SCCM administration, Windows 10/11 support, OS patching, and troubleshooting across corporate and store environments.Lead System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM / Configuration Manager) patching cycles and manage Ring 1, Ring 2, and Ring 3 deployment architectures. Administer SCCM environments, including upgrades, routine maintenance, distribution point health checks, and content management. Drive operating system patching initiatives, including Windows 10 Long-Term Servicing Branch (LTSB) end-of-life migrations to Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) for store and corporate devices. Deploy, update, and remove applications using Microsoft SCCM Software Center. Package installers, validate application compatibility, and manage enterprise application update schedules. Support Java uninstallation and migration to OpenJDK, ensuring device-level compatibility. Administer and maintain PrinterLogic, including printer driver updates and configuration migrations. Manage and troubleshoot Zebra Print Manager solutions for store and warehouse devices, monitor print performance, resolve issues, and support printer subnet changes during network transitions. Assist with policy, profile, and compliance rule deployment in Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager. Support Microsoft Defender deployments, including ad hoc package pushes and device remediation requests. Implement and manage changes to Group Policy Objects (GPOs) using the Group Policy Management Console. Provide support for store users leveraging Google Workspace (G Suite) and Chromebooks, including operating system updates and device enrollment. Participate in store and corporate endpoint rollouts, system builds, and device certification processes. Collaborate with external partners such as Spencer Technologies to build new devices and validate endpoint configurations. Create, maintain, and update build documentation, system images, and deployment processes. Resolve endpoint-related tickets and incidents involving devices, applications, printers, and store hardware. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring issues. Maintain accurate endpoint compliance, inventory, and reporting using SCCM and Intune. 4-6 years of experience in End User Computing (EUC), Desktop Engineering, or Endpoint Administration roles. Strong hands-on expertise with SCCM / Configuration Manager, including patching, application packaging, and deployment ring strategies. Proven experience managing Windows 10/11, LTSC builds, imaging, provisioning, and upgrade activities. Hands-on experience supporting enterprise printing platforms such as PrinterLogic and Zebra printers. Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy management, and Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager. Familiarity with Google Workspace (G Suite) administration and Chromebook device management. Experience supporting retail or store-based technology environments. PowerShell scripting skills for automation, reporting, and troubleshooting. Relevant certifications such as MD-100 / MD-101, SCCM, MDM, or equivalent endpoint certifications.
