Role summary:
Job Title:
Junior Video Editor
Location: Mumbai
Total experience: 6 months - 1 year
Role Overview:
The Junior Video Editor / Intern will support the video and content team in editing short-form and long-form videos for digital, social, and branded content. The role involves assisting with post-production tasks, organizing footage, creating rough cuts, and adapting edits for multiple platforms while working closely with senior editors and creative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in editing videos for social media, digital campaigns, and branded content
Create rough cuts, trims, and basic transitions
Sync audio, add basic graphics, captions, and exports
Organize footage, manage file structures, and backups
Support revisions and quick turnarounds under deadlines
Requirements:
6 months–1 year experience in video editing (internships/projects count)
Working knowledge of Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro (After Effects is a plus)
Understanding of social media formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
Good eye for pacing, storytelling, and detail
Eagerness to learn and take feedback
