Abbott's Chartered Accountants is a medium size family friendly practice located in West Perth.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a talented junior and/or intermediate accountant with a desire to learn and be part of our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality accounting and advisory services to our diverse range of clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reporting documents
  • Conducting research and analysis to support business advisory services
  • Liaising with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
  • Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional client service

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in a public practice tax or advisory role
  • CA/CPA underway or planning to start.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude to deliver quality service
  • Experience with accounting software (i.e. Xero, MYOB).
