ALIQAN Technologies is seeking a skilled Kafka Admin for a mid-level contract position. The role is based in Bangalore, Chennai, or Pune. We are looking for candidates with 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience who can bring expertise in managing and optimizing Kafka ecosystems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have a minimum of 4 years of working experience with Kafka (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka for enterprise-grade applications (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in Kafka Streams for real-time stream processing (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with Kafka Connect for data integration between Kafka and other systems.
• Proficient in shell scripting for managing and automating tasks in a Linux environment.
• A solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven programming.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and capability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Kafka clusters, ensuring their stability, performance, and security.
• Implement and manage Kafka stream processing solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Kafka solutions with enterprise applications.
• Monitor and optimize Kafka performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline Kafka operations and administrative tasks.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Kafka-related issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of Kafka architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Kafka technologies and propose improvements.
