6+ Years' experience specially in Kafka Technology

Mandatory Skills/Knowledge 

  1. Candidate should be technically sound in multiple distribution like Cloudera, Confluent, open source Kafka etc. 
  2. Candidate should be technically sound in Kafka, Zookeeper 
  3. Candidate should well verse in capacity planning and performance tuning.
  4. Candidate should be expertise in implementation of security in ecosystem Hadoop Security ranger, Kerberos, SSL etc.
  5. Candidate should be expertise in dev ops tool like ansible, Nagios, shell scripting python, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Maven etc. to implement automation.  
  6. Candidate should able to Monitor, Debug & RCA for any service failure.
  7. Knowledge of network infrastructure for e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, router, load balancer etc.
  8. Creative analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. Provide RCAs for critical & recurring incidents.
  10. Provide on-call service coverage within a larger group
  11. Good aptitude in multi-threading and concurrency concepts.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge

  1. Prepare SOPs, Gather Asset information and create architecture diagram.
  2. Prepare operational Manuals. DB Admin L3 will provide Subject Matter Expertise for DB administrators, resolve complex issues and guide and coach L2 Engineers.
  3. Provide recommendation for service improvement.

Desired Certifications

  1. Any Associate level Cloud certifications from the proposed CSP is mandatory.
  2. Kafka Certification.

1. Must have good troubleshooting skills.

2. Must be ready to learn new technologies and acquire new skills.

3. Must be a Team Player

4. Should be good in Spoken and Written English.
