Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our high-impact engineering team. You will work across the stack — building scalable frontends in Typescript & Next.js and/or robust backends in Python (FastAPI/Django). This role is critical in shaping Karbon's product experiences, ensuring speed, reliability, and innovation at scale.
Where You Can Create Impact
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Build responsive, performant, and user-friendly UIs using Typescript & Next.js.
- Develop APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django).
- Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance across the stack.
- Own features end-to-end: from design to deployment and monitoring.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices, and the tech roadmap.

· Frontend: Typescript, Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Python, FastAPI, Django
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- Cloud & Infra: AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Other Tools: Git, GitHub, Elasticsearch, modern observability & monitoring tools
Requirements for the Role
Must-have:
- 2+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in either Typescript, Next.js for frontend development Or backend development experience in Python, FastAPI, and Django. Must be familiar with both.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
- Comfort working in fast-paced startup environments.
Good-to-have:
- Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with message queues/event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps and observability tools.
