With an AUM of ₹2,250 Cr and Gold Loan AUM of ₹1,600 Cr, we are on track to achieve ₹10,000 Cr AUM by 2029. We are looking for a strategic leader to drive exponential growth in our Gold Loan business.

Role Overview:

The Business Head – Gold Loan Vertical will be responsible for leading, strategizing, and expanding the Gold Loan business across multiple states. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep industry expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record in business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Expansion:

• Develop and implement strategies to scale the Gold Loan business.

• Identify new markets, set up branches, and drive branch profitability.

• Work closely with the leadership team to achieve AUM growth targets.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

• Drive customer acquisition and increase the Gold Loan portfolio.

• Optimize pricing, interest rates, and product offerings for maximum profitability.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales and operations team.

• Set clear performance metrics and ensure achievement of business goals.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Ensure robust risk assessment, collateral security, and regulatory compliance.

• Work with internal teams to maintain low NPAs and high portfolio quality.

Strategic Partnerships & Alliances:

• Forge partnerships with banks, fintech companies, and other stakeholders.

• Leverage technology for operational efficiency and customer experience

enhancement.

Key Requirements:

Education: Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred)

Experience: 12+ years in Gold Loan business (NBFC/BFSI sector)

Skills:

• Strong expertise in business expansion, risk management, and P&L ownership

• Leadership ability to drive strategic growth and operational excellence

• Strong market knowledge of Gold Loan lending practices and customer behavior

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across operational regions
