These solutions are sold directly to industrial asset owners, operators and specialist contractors across mining, oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical processing, water and wastewater, marine, ports and heavy industrial manufacturing sectors.
OPPORTUNITY
An opportunity exists for a field-based Account Manager to join the Western Australian team, supporting continued growth across mining and heavy industrial markets, with a clear pathway into managing Pilbara-based Tier 1 mining and Oil & Gas accounts.
This is an autonomous, consultative sales role suited to a technically capable professional who enjoys regular site engagement, diagnosing operational challenges and positioning engineered solutions to maintenance, engineering and operations teams.
An established portfolio of industrial accounts will be handed over, with responsibility to retain, grow and expand those relationships. Over time, the role will progress into managing large, strategic clients across mining, oil & gas, power and petrochemical sectors as part of a planned succession strategy, with a senior team member retiring within the next two years.
The role combines metro Perth account management with regional and Pilbara business development, aligned to candidate capability and ambition.

CANDIDATE
This role values attitude, character and mindset as highly as technical background. The ideal candidate will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in sales or technical sales within industrial, mining, mechanical, maintenance or heavy industry environments
- A consultative, problem‑solving approach to selling engineered solutions
- Comfort working autonomously in a field‑based role
- Strong relationship‑building capability with engineering, maintenance and operations stakeholders
- Commercial drive with discipline around territory planning and account growth
- High levels of organisation, time management and self‑direction
- Curiosity, coachability and willingness to learn complex industrial products
- Resilience and persistence in developing long‑term, high‑value accounts
Prior experience in industrial coatings or repair technologies is beneficial but not essential; full training is provided. Several of the business’s top performers entered the organisation without prior exposure to these solutions and succeeded through technical curiosity and strong sales discipline.
