Job Description
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, CIE Poultry Sales, the Key Account Manager, is responsible for managing the full sales cycle (planning-negotiation-logistics-credit management). The focus is to develop a rapport with customers and plant personnel.
Key Accountabilities:
Accountable for managing the personal/phone sales for assigned accounts.
Accountable for assigned commodity, industrial, chicken and turkey account sales.
Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned and new accounts, while sourcing new accounts.
Accountable for developing new commodity and industrial accounts as required across Canada.
Accountable for fresh sales and frozen inventory management/sales.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of Sales and/or Planning experience.
Preference for experience in commodity sales and account management.
A proven record of profitable management of accounts.
Degree / Diploma in a business discipline is preferable.
