About The Company
Our client is an established agribusiness with a long history of working with retail distribution by providing products critical to broadacre, horticulture and pasture production. They are now seeking a Key Account Manager to join their team.

About The Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will develop trusted relationships with existing distribution customers through effectively managing mutual and agreed commercial expectations and obligations. The role will focus on building multi-level/disciplinary relationships (both internally and externally) and continuously focus on proposing and building commercial solutions to meet business objectives.

This role will report to and work closely with the General Manager, formulating and actioning sales plans and marketing activities and work closely and strategically with an existing internal customer service and sales teams. You will also attend relevant industry meetings, conferences, field days and seminars nationally.

About The Person
Applicants must be self-motivated and be able to work both independently, as well as part of a team. The role demands a confident and capable applicant, with excellent time management and communication skills and leadership credentials.
  • Strong knowledge of agronomy, crop nutrition, and soil science.
  • Proven track record of sales success in the agriculture industry with suppliers or distribution, preferably in fertilisers or crop inputs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships.
