API- India is Hiring: Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer (Metrology Experience Mandatory) – Metrology (West India)
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer to drive and expand our Metrology business across West India.
Location: West India (Ahmedabad, Gujarat/Pune, Maharashtra)
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage key accounts while generating new business in industrial metrology
• Handle and grow relationships with customers from Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Heavy Engineering, and Manufacturing sectors
• Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable metrology solutions (CMM, Laser Tracker, Portable CMM, 3 D Scanning, etc.)
• Coordinate with application and service teams for demonstrations, trials, and project execution
• Build long-term customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
• Experience in handling Government sector clients will be an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 7–8 years of experience for Key Account role
• 3–5 years of experience for Sales Engineer role
• Mandatory experience in Metrology / Inspection / Capital Equipment sales
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel extensively across West India
