Kiln / Boiler Operator

• $41.45 per hour + Penalties
• Monday to Friday | Standard day shift
• Location: Grafton 

About Our Client

Our client is a leader in the timber manufacturing industry, committed to producing high-quality, durable wood products. You will be joining a supportive and safety-focused production environment where teamwork and reliability are highly valued.

What You Will Be Doing

• Monitor and control kiln operations to dry timber to specified moisture levels, ensuring product stability and durability.
• Ensure optimal kiln and boiler performance, including accurate monitoring and record keeping.
• Assist with general maintenance and care of plant and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and operational standards.

What You Will Need

• Experience in boiler and/or kiln operation is advantageous but not essential.
• Mechanically and technically minded with a willingness to learn.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
• Forklift licence and experience desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A positive, professional, reliable, and energetic attitude.
