Kiln Operator (B) - 3rd Shift

Entry level positions available for an established ceramic manufacturer.

Primary Function of the Job:

•   To provide for the efficient operation of all kilns accordance with established procedures.

The Kiln Operator B position is an entry level Kiln Operator position and may be filled, as required, from personnel who have demonstrated the following:

• Ability to prepare daily production records without error.


• Ability to load saggers/plates/trays using proper procedures.
• Ability to load/unload all kilns.
• Ability to perform sidework including go; no-go gauging.
• Ability to learn to trouble shoot roller kiln controls plus make adjustments in accordance with standard operating procedures.
