Job Title: Kinaxis Supply Planning Consultant
Role Overview
The role is responsible for solution design, delivery, configuration, and support of Kinaxis planning solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery managers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution design and delivery of the Kinaxis system for client.
Develop a strong understanding of the Kinaxis solution footprint, with deep expertise in Supply Planning.
Facilitate business diagnostics, As-Is process analysis, and To-Be design workshops.
Create and maintain solution design documents aligned with business requirements.
Review functional specifications and designs; provide inputs to enhance solution quality.
Assess existing systems and tools; recommend process and system improvements.
Configure and implement Kinaxis planning solutions, independently with guidance from a Kinaxis Architect.
Influence business and technology decisions using industry best practices and prior implementation experience.
Deliver projects in fast-paced, agile environments.
Support project planning activities including estimates, timelines, and detailed plans.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support final business sign-off.
Identify, communicate, and manage project risks and issues impacting scope, schedule, or budget.
Collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain / Logistics preferred but not mandatory
Experience & Skills
8+ years of experience implementing supply chain planning solutions
5+ years of hands-on Kinaxis implementation experience (mandatory)
Project, enhancement, or POC experience required
User or super-user experience does not qualify
Kinaxis experience in:
Supply Planning or
Demand Planning or
Both
Strong understanding of material planning systems and processes
Experience integrating Kinaxis with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC highly desirable
Experience supporting large global manufacturers or CPG companies preferred
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic delivery environment
Additional Notes
While 5+ years of Kinaxis experience is preferred, candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong relevant skills and implementation capability.
