Job Description
Client Partner - Strategic Accounts is a senior, client-facing role responsible for owning and growing strategic client relationships, driving revenue expansion, and ensuring long-term partnership success.<br/><br/>This role acts as a trusted advisor to key accounts, aligning client business objectives with the organizations solutions while driving value, retention, and growth.<br/><br/><b>Key Account Own and manage key strategic accounts with complete end-to-end responsibility<br/><br/>- Develop deep understanding of client businesses, goals, challenges, and industry landscape<br/><br/>- Build long-term, trusted relationships with CXOs, senior stakeholders, and decision-makers<br/><br/>- Act as the single point of contact for strategic clients<br/><br/><b>Revenue Growth & Account Drive account growth through upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities<br/><br/>- Own revenue targets, forecasts, and account-level P&L (where applicable)<br/><br/>- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and convert them into revenue<br/><br/>- Lead pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract renewals<br/><br/><b>Client Success & Delivery Ensure seamless execution and delivery by collaborating with delivery, product, and operations teams<br/><br/>- Proactively manage risks, escalations, and client expectations<br/><br/>- Monitor account health, service quality, and customer satisfaction metrics<br/><br/>- Drive renewals and ensure long-term account retention<br/><br/><b>Strategic Planning & Create and execute account plans, growth roadmaps, and engagement strategies<br/><br/>- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs), steering committee meetings, and executive updates<br/><br/>- Track KPIs, account performance metrics, and prepare executive-level reports<br/><br/><b>Cross-Functional Work closely with sales, marketing, delivery, finance, and leadership teams to ensure alignment<br/><br/>- Provide client insights to internal teams to support solution development and innovation<br/><br/>- Support marketing initiatives such as case studies, references, and thought leadership<br/><br/><b>Leadership & Mentor account managers and client-facing team members<br/><br/>- Drive best practices in account management and client engagement<br/><br/>- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and client-centricity<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Competencies:</b><br/><br/><b>Functional & Technical Skills:</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Proven experience in strategic account management and enterprise client handling<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of B2B sales, account growth, and client success models<br/><br/>- Experience in managing large, complex accounts with multiple stakeholders<br/><br/>- Strong commercial acumen including pricing, negotiations, and contract management<br/><br/>- Proficiency in CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and MS Office<br/><br/><b>Behavioral & Leadership Skills:</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills<br/><br/>- Strategic thinker with strong execution and problem-solving capabilities<br/><br/>- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex client environments</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
