Job Title: Kitchen Manager/ Head Chef

About the Role
Our client is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager/ Head Chef to lead their lunch kitchen operations. You'll manage a small team of chefs and sandwich hands, working closely with the bakery and pastry teams to deliver high-quality daytime food service.
You'll oversee daily production of sandwiches, bagels, sourdough pizzas and savoury pastries, while managing stock, rosters, recruitment and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the production kitchen team
  • Oversee daily production of sandwiches, bagels, pizzas and savoury items
  • Ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Manage ordering, stock control and inventory
  • Prepare staff rosters and support recruitment
  • Maintain food safety, cleanliness and equipment standards
  • Work closely with bakery and pastry teams
