Job Purpose

Assisting in the cleanliness of the kitchen while adhering to all food safety requirements.

All employees are expected to honour the privacy of the resident. Respect for the individuality, dignity, autonomy and empowerment of the resident must underpin all activities and interactions undertaken during the course of their duties

Personal Presentation

• Ensuring that ones personal demeanour, attitudes and interactions are at all times professional in approach
• Presented in the full company uniform at all times
• Maintaining a high degree of personal hygiene
• Presented in Personal protective Equipment (PPE) where applicable
• Practice and promote Nursing home guidelines on hand washing and Infection Control to protect oneself and others
• Adherence to guidelines on Absenteeism Lateness and sickness
