The Kitchen trainee will have the opportunity to discover and develop their culinary skills in a professional setting at Nobu Hotel Barcelona. The trainee will have a hands-on learning experience in which they will participate in the production, distribution of food, and the organization/logistics in the kitchen. They will learn how products are chosen, working methods and menu planning. The trainee will work as a team member in a dynamic environment with high volume. They will rotate between different stations within the kitchen and learn all aspects of how to prepare the items presented on the menu. Essential Functions:
• Prepare the mise and place.
• Grill meats, fish and vegetables.
• Prepare the sauces
• Plate dishes.
• Tempura seafood and vegetables.
• Support the kitchen team. Other duties:
