Job Description
Purpose:</b></p><br/><p>To lead and grow the LAP and MSME loan business in the assigned region by managing sales teams, expanding distribution channels, ensuring portfolio quality, and achieving disbursement and profitability targets.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><br/><p>- Drive business growth for LAP and MSME loans across the assigned region.</p><br/><p>- Achieve disbursement, revenue, and profitability targets as per business plan.</p><br/><p>- Develop and manage DSA, connector, broker, and channel partner network.</p><br/><p>- Recruit, train, and lead Area Sales Managers, Branch Sales Managers, and Sales Officers.</p><br/><p>- Monitor lead generation, login, sanction, and disbursement funnel.</p><br/><p>- Ensure credit, legal, and operations coordination for smooth loan processing.</p><br/><p>- Maintain portfolio quality, delinquency control, and risk parameters.</p><br/><p>- Track competition, pricing, and market trends and suggest business strategies.</p><br/><p>- Ensure adherence to compliance, KYC, AML, and regulatory norms.</p><br/><p>- Conduct regular branch visits, reviews, and performance meetings.</p><br/><p>- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities in the region.</p><br/><p><b>Key Skills & Competencies</b></p><br/><p>- Strong understanding of LAP, MSME, and secured lending products</p><br/><p>- Proven ability to build and manage large sales teams and channels</p><br/><p>- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and leadership skills</p><br/><p>- Knowledge of credit underwriting, risk, and documentation</p><br/><p>- Result-oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills</p><br/><p><b>Educational Qualification</b></p><br/><p>- Graduate in any discipline</p><br/><p>- MBA in Sales/Marketing or Finance 8-15 years of experience in NBFC/Banking sales</p><br/><p>- Minimum 5 years in LAP / MSME lending</p><br/><p>- At least 35 years in a regional or zonal leadership role</p><br/><p><b>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</b></p><br/><p>- Regional disbursement & revenue targets</p><br/><p>- Portfolio quality (PAR/NPA levels)</p><br/><p>- Channel productivity & team performance</p><br/><p>- Cost of acquisition and operational efficiency</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
